How Our Post-Purchase Price Match Works
If you purchase a product from DiscountTracks.com and then find the identical item advertised at a lower price by an authorized U.S. retailer within 30 calendar days of your original purchase date, we will issue you the difference in the form of a DiscountTracks.com store credit.
Example: You buy a track for $500. Within 30 days, you find the exact same track advertised by an eligible competitor for $470. After verification, we’ll issue you a $30 store credit!
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for our 30-Day Post-Purchase Price Match, the following conditions must be met:
- Your Original Purchase: You must have purchased the item directly from DiscountTracks.com.
- Timeframe: The lower price must be found and submitted to us within 30 calendar days of your original DiscountTracks.com purchase date.
- Identical Item: The competitor’s product must be identical to the one you purchased from us (same brand, model number, SKU, specifications, quality, and warranty).
- Competitor Status: The competitor must be an authorized U.S. retailer. Their price must be publicly accessible on their website.
- New Product: The competitor’s item must be new, in-stock, and available for immediate purchase (not used, refurbished, open-box, clearance, or limited quantity).
- Verifiable Price: The competitor’s price must be verifiable by our team. It must be their standard advertised price before any special memberships, loyalty programs, or one-time promotions are applied.
- Complete Price Comparison: The competitor’s price considered will be their total price, including any shipping, handling, and taxes, compared to your total purchase price from DiscountTracks.com for the identical item.
How to Submit a Post-Purchase Price Match Request
- Gather Information:
- Your DiscountTracks.com order number and date of purchase.
- A direct link to the competitor’s product page clearly showing the item, its current advertised price, and indicating it’s in stock. A dated screenshot may also be helpful.
- Send an Email: Contact our customer service team at [email protected] with the subject line “Post-Purchase Price Match Request – Order #[YourOrderNumber].”
- Include Details: In your email, provide all the information gathered in Step 1.
- Review Process: Our team will review your submission, typically within 1-2 business days, to verify eligibility against the conditions outlined.
- Confirmation & Store Credit: If your request is approved, we’ll contact you to confirm and issue the store credit for the price difference to your DiscountTracks.com account.
Exclusions & Limitations
Our 30-Day Post-Purchase Price Match does not apply to:
- Prices from third-party marketplace sellers (e.g., eBay, Amazon Marketplace).
- Auction sites, flash sale sites, or deal-of-the-day offers.
- Competitor pricing errors or misprints.
- Limited-quantity offers, clearance, closeout, or liquidation sales.
- Prices that cannot be publicly verified by our team.
- Financing offers, bundled offers, free gift-with-purchase deals, or mail-in rebates.
- Prices requiring special memberships, loyalty programs, or unique, non-public promotional codes.
- Our own prices if they change after your purchase (this policy is for matching competitor prices).
- Items purchased more than 30 days prior.
Important Considerations
- Store credit issued under this policy is non-transferable and can only be used for future purchases on DiscountTracks.com.
- DiscountTracks.com reserves the right to modify or discontinue this Post-Purchase Price Match policy at any time without prior notice.
